About:
Founded and led by Visual Artist Chotsani Williams West, Exuberant Creations, LLC - A Reflection of You! began in 2000. The Arts & Mentoring Academy now serves youth and teens who endeavor to pursue the Visual Arts. Launched in 2014, the renowned Academy serves the Queens County and Long Island communities. Designed to instill self-confidence, to support the youth-artist voice and to build public speaking skills, mentoring and experiential learning are used as vehicles to teach youth. 

Biography:
Chotsani Williams West is a self-taught visual artist who wholeheartedly supports education through the arts.  Her figurative and abstract paintings have been exhibited throughout New York City and Pennsylvania in solo and juried shows. She enthusiastically receives feedback from clients who express feelings of “tranquility, freedom and serenity” when looking at her work.

Chotsani began Exuberant Creations, LLC – A Reflection of You! in 2000 to let her voice be heard through art. Hand crafted greeting cards for all occasions pay homage to Chotsani’s paintings and body of work. Exquisite wedding invitations and creative bridal packages are part of Chotsani's portfolio. In 2014, as a natural extension to her company, she developed a branch which is particularly close to her heart. Exuberant Creations, LLC Arts & Mentoring Academy merges her passion as an artist and comprehensive experience in education/school reform, mentoring, youth and professional development. 

Chotsani conducts artistic and creative expression workshops for youth, mentoring organizations, entrepreneurs and businesses.  She has taught a series of Extended Day and Enrichment art classes for “The Me Nobody Knows” Performing Arts Program at the Thurgood Marshall Academy Elementary School and Excelsior Preparatory High School in Queens, NY. She has a long-standing seasonal role as the children's evening art instructor at the Valley Stream Community Center.
